Kettle Moraine State Forests
Enjoy fall and winter in
Wisconsin's Southern and Northern Kettle Moraine State Forests connected
by the scenic "Kettle Moraine Drive" (marked by acorn shaped signs)
from Whitewater Lake (Walworth County) to Elkhart Lake (Sheboygan County). Cross-country
skiing trails, hiking trails, lakes, camping areas, pinic areas, wayside parks
and postclacial formations (kettles, moraines) are present throughout the forests

World Wisconsin
Sample a demonstration of farm life experienced by early American
settlers from Germany, Norway, France, Africa, France and Finland. Special
events are held throughout the year.
Lapham
Peak
The
beautiful surrounding countryside, fall foliage and sixteen lakes can
be seen from the observation tower atop the peak. Numerous hiking trails
are available around the peak. We just missed a wedding ceremony held
at the top of the peak.
Ice
Age Visitor Center
Several
glacial features are clearly visible from
the outside observation platform. Inside the center is a large mural
which depicts the area at the time of the glacier's final retreat.
VOLO AUTO MUSEUM On your next trip to Lake
Geneva stop by the Volo Auto Museum located in Volo, Illinois on Route #12.
The museum includes a fine collection of legendary cars from America's favorite
movies and TV series.
New this year is the "Combat Zone" which features
'battlefield sound effects' and military weapons.
